This is NOT the time to GIVE UP!

No, this is not the time to give up. It's not lost yet. We must continue to fight for what we believe in. Isn't this how we got here? Weak, ineffectual republicans? And we think, because we KNOW the dems are destroying our country
That said, the Republicans MUST continue individual attacks in the media against the left-dominated Dems. It is CRITICAL that they be loudly on the record, hanging the albatross around the Dems collective necks- and individual necks of Nelson (Ben AND Bill) and Landrieu.
We need to continue to focus their attacks on this health care debacle. They need to fight for the country on this. We all know it is a damnable piece of legislation that needs to be killed. If the Republicans give up now then what good will they be in the future?
Now that we've seen how this administraton uses ham-fisted tactics to get their agenda through, what's to stop them from "winning" the elections in November?
They wanted Change, they got Change. As for legal challenges, don't count on it. The courts are more liberal than congress. I don't believe the majority of voters will be all that upset with this come fall, because they don't understand the full ramifications of what the Dems have created. This will play out for years, much the way the Great Society legislation took several decades to manifest itself and create a permanent dependent class and undermined the traditional family. No, I'm afraid we have accelerated the demise of this once great country and future generations will pay a terrible price. That being said, I will be out working hard for a couple of good Republican candidates come this fall.
